Both Boards of Trustees and Directors of Christian University of Rwanda (CHUR) held a meeting at CHUR headquarters at Karongi district, western province.

On 28 of February 2018, both Boards of Trustees and Directors of Christian University of Rwanda (CHUR) held a meeting at CHUR Headquarters at Karongi district, Western province. The meeting agenda was to see at which level of implementation decisions and recommendations of the last meeting held in October 2018 was at. Prof. KUBWIMANA Chrisologue, President of the Board headed the meeting.


 The meeting approved members of senior management; the Coordinator of Karongi campus Dr, Jeanne TUMUKUNDE, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academics and Research Rev. Dr. NIYIKIZA Quinet Obed and Mrs. Christine MUREBWAYIRE from PSF (Public Sector Federation).

The meeting also approved 2017-2018 CHUR academic calendar which starts on 16 October 2017 and ends in July, 2018. We cannot fail to mention the approved 2018-2019 CHUR action plan.

The meeting approved CHUR consultancy policy and procedures that explain how lectures would be involved in projects which would generate income for the University.  They also approved CHUR students’ disciplinary regulations.

In a one year timeframe, Christian University of Rwanda has 774 students which is a very good number for starters. March 2018 intake application and registration are opened and some have started registering which gives even brighter future prospects.
